I would just like to note firstly that prior to moving into my currenty property in Nov 2010 I have never had any ghostly experiences.

My parents bought a new house in Nov 2010, loverly 4 bed stone cottage and myself and my 2 sons (5 and 3) moved in with them until a legal battle with my ex partner to get back into my own property is resolved (as of yet it still is not but thats a whole different story!). Anyway it is 300 years old and we don't know much about it as like most old deeds they have been lost or sold on to pubs etc, we can only go back as far as 110 years and only know the houses true age due to old ordinance survey maps.

First strange thing happened when we first moved in, we was stood outside talking on the yard and my dad saw a man stood just inside the front door. He was not a believer in ghosts at all and was that freaked out that he did not tell me or my mum until a few weeks later after my mum told us about hearing loud footsteps in the kitchen when no one was there. He described the man as 6ft + wearing an old fashioned hat and a long coat, he says he appeared to be made out of some sort of 3d dark grey smoke.

Next thing was a few weeks later when my mum saw the same thing but more of a shadow this time that walked past the kitchen window.

Shortly after moving in a small white laser looking beam would shoot rapidly around all walls in my eldest sons bedroom, wasn't too bothered about this as after all it was just a small light and didnt look very paranormal. Then soft toys that didn't have any sort of light or glowing device inside them started to glow, every so often the belly would glow bight red and then fade back to nothing and then fade back on again in a kind of rhythm, it could do this for up to a minute. I never mentioned this to anyone as it only happened very late at night when i was just nipping in to check on my son and i put it down to being over tired until my mum one day mentioned that something strange had happened when she had gone to tuck him in, his toys were glowing!

Then the most strange thing happened. My mum took a picture of our new puppy in the garden and printed it out to show my nan and she noticed after printing it that there was someone stood in my bedroom window that you can see in the background of the picture. It appears to be a girl who im guessing is about 10 years old as compared to how high I am when stood in the same place I have worked out she is about 4ft tall. She has what looks like a white old fashioned dress on and dark hair.

My eldest son had a dream a few weeks ago that a girl came to him  in his bedroom and just asked him what his name was, he told her but says that is all she asked. He says she was "bigger" than him and had brown hair and wore glasses.

A few days after this my mum awoke to find a young girl with glasses running at the side of her bed, she said she already appeared to be running when she looked at her and no sooner had she seen her than she had disappeared, she know says she thinks she just imagined it and has convinced herself of this since.

Also in the past week my dad has seen 2 large man sized shadows in the kitchen late a night when he has been watching tv.

Last night I was watching a film in bed and a loud voice shouted my name, it sounded just like my voice?

I don't really know what to make of it all. None of us are used to this so i'm not sure why these things are happening, if they are harmful, warnings etc or if we need to do aything about them. I'm really worried and am having trouble sleeping for fear that I may see something myself.

Two orbs here with faces. I have zoomed in so they are clearer but i also have the original. Always have orbs in my garden.

It was pitch black in this room. when i got home had to lighten pic up. dont what that is in corner of room. but felt very creepy when we was in there. not just cos it was dark.
