Chat Rules of conduct:

The rules are in place not only to protect our members, but also the integrity of the atmosphere - so please respect them or find yourself removed from the chat and even banned.

Conduct:

+ Speak english. (Should non-english rooms be required for a number of users, please contact us for more information)
+ Keep sexually explicit or otherwise disturbing things out of the chat, including swearing.
+ Behave civilised. Do not harass other users on the chat. This includes any kind of stalking or otherwise harassing other users on the chat in private or in other places. If you have a problem with someone, just do not talk to them, use the ignore feature and inform a member of our team.
+ Do not flood, DO NOT SCREAM (that means, do not use only UPPERCASE letters).
+ Do not use excessive amounts of color or other control codes.
+ Use common sense, try and be a good net citizen.
+ Please avoid coming into the channel drunk or -high- on substances. It apparently has to be said - If you act like an idiot, you may be banned.
+ Do not advertise for other websites (exceptions can be made regarding content relating to the debate at hand).

Ban Information:

+ Generally, bans are set for up to 2 hours, but can be longer depending on what you did to get banned. (Un-banning can only be proformed by select members of our team, and may in certain circumstance take upto 14 days - Please contact a member of our team if you are banned and require a status update, remember from time to time members can also be permenantly banned).
+ If you do something ban-worthy while the -Chat Monitors- are away, expect the consequences of your actions to occur later when they return, and chat logs have been verified.
+ If you get banned, accept it and wait until the time limit runs out, and remember sometimes a ban is permenant.
+ Threatening or harassing any -Chat Monitors- will do you no good (think about it, instant and permenant ban).
+ The -Chat Monitors- do not have any obligation to respond to banned persons private messages, nor are they obligated to explain themselves.
+ The -Chat Monitor- decisions are final.
